Interpretation:
In artificial cloud seeding, the idea is to
provide nuclei to initiate the condensation process. Usually some ionic
compounds like NaCl or AgCl powder is sprayed on clouds. The above method
should be scientifically observed because on putting table salt to flame (m.p.
> 9000C) though melts its vapors may not reach the clouds!.
However even carbon residue from the flame if reaches the cloud may initiate
the condensation of cloud and precipitate in the form of rain!. But still,
proper scientific research should be conducted in this aspect. If successful
this inexpensive method certainly can replace the existing costly processes, if
the government obliges!.
